Latinas Contra Cancer welcomes you to San Francisco
and the National Latino Cancer Summit:
Science Meets Service, Moving Forward Together
The National Latino Cancer Summit will convene cancer researchers, health policy experts, community activists, cancer survivors, and health professionals in the first of its kind conference to bring attention to the issue of cancer and cancer care disparities among Latinos in the U.S. The Summit will be a unique opportunity to hear the latest in groundbreaking cancer research and best practices as they relate to Latinos and cancer.
Our purpose is to initiate a dialogue between researchers and Latino communities broadly defined in mobilizing efforts to increase research participation, reduce disparities, and improve cancer care and quality of life for Latinos living with cancer and their families.
The Summit will be held at the Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF. We hope to provide a fully bi-lingual conference. Some scholarships are available for students and small agencies. Opportunities to
sponsor the Summit are still available. We have a limited number of table sponsorships for companies, educational and medical institutions. We also have vendor tables as well as low cost space for community-based agencies. Stay tuned to this site for updates. If you have any questions, please refer to the
contacts page for the appropriate team member.
Please join us for this monumental event. We welcome all.
